It's easy to add text to any video online- you just need to the right tool. With Zubtitle, you can easily add video headlines and captions.
After you work hard to create a video that will resonate with your target audience, you probably want to make sure that your video will perform well on social media. And one of the best ways to ensure optimal performance is to add text to your video.
When it comes to social media videos, both headlines and captions are vital for success. After all, 80% of consumers are more likely to watch an entire video if there are captions available. And an eye-catching, interest-piquing headline can grab your audience’s attention (which is important when the average person scrolls through a whopping 300 feet of social media content daily).
The good news is that it’s easy to add text to any video online – you just need the right tool. We’re here to show you how to use Zubtitle to easily add headlines and captions to your video.
The best way to add text to any video online is with Zubtitle, a state-of-the-art editing tool that makes it easy to add captions, trim & resize your video, add a headline, style your video with a logo, and more.
To get started adding text to your video, you’ll just need to log into your existing Zubtitle account (or create a new one) and upload your video. You can do that by simply clicking the yellow Add a New Video button on the right-hand side of the screen.
After uploading your video, Zubtitle will automatically transcribe your audio and convert it to timed captions in just a few seconds. Once Zubtitle has handled all of the heavy lifting, you just have to review the captions to make sure everything looks right. You can easily adjust the text, add emojis, or shift the timing by pointing and clicking directly in the editor.
First, navigate to the Text Styles menu on the right-hand menu bar to make sure that the "Headline" option is toggled on. Then return to the Text Editor menu and type in your headline. As you type, your headline will appear over the video on the left-hand side of the screen.
Next, navigate back to the Text Styles menu. Now you can style your headline by choosing a font (or uploading a custom font), changing the font-weight and size, adjusting the line height, text box padding, and more.
You can customize where your title is placed on your video by dragging the dot up or down the Vertical Position scale. If you want more control over where it’s placed, just check the Fine-tune box. You can also select the alignment of your title so that it’s placed to the left, right, or center.
Once you’re finished adding all of your text, you can render and download your newly optimized video.
