Zubtitle V3 | Introducing Templates, Trimming, & More

Back in 2018, we started Zubtitle with one goal in mind — to create a captioning software that would help your videos perform better on social media. From personal experience, we knew how frustrating it was to pour resources into creating high-quality video content, spend time publishing those videos on a consistent basis across relevant platforms, and follow all of the expert-recommended best practices only to see unsatisfying results.

But then we stumbled across a statistic that helped us begin to crack the code on video engagement. Did you know that over 80% of social videos are watched on mute? That means that the majority of your audience is seeing your video and watching your mouth move, but they’re missing out on your message. And the solution for that is simple: video subtitles.

While the solution was technically simple, the application wasn’t. As we delved into the world of video captioning, we realized that there were really only a few options — and most of them were complicated or expensive (or both). And that’s why we set out to develop a state-of-the-art captioning software that could transcribe the audio in your video content and automatically convert it to timed captions.

Since 2018, Zubtitle has evolved into so much more than just a captioning tool. We’ve continued to update and better Zubtitle so that it is now essentially a one-stop shop for video creators like you to get your videos optimized and ready for social media, no matter what platform you’re using.

Here at Zubtitle, we’re always focused on upgrading our tool with new features, offerings, and plans to ensure that creators like you have everything you need for intuitive video editing. That’s why we recently debuted a new version of Zubtitle with some very exciting new features that we’re ready to tell you all about…

New Features

We know that, as content creators, you always want to get the most out of every video you create. That’s why it’s so important to share your video across multiple platforms, reaching your largest audience everywhere they’re hanging out. But we all know that every social media platform is different. They have different requirements for aspect ratio, length, and varying results with which styles work best. The amount of time it can take to tweak and edit the same video to post across multiple platforms can often feel like more trouble than it’s worth.

And that’s the problem that we wanted to solve with this newest version of Zubtitle. We want to help content creators like you take one video (which you’ve already spent so much time and energy creating) and optimize it for multiple social media platforms with just a few clicks. For example, say you’ve got a video that you want to share on YouTube, but you also want to take that same video and put it on LinkedIn and TikTok.

Video Trimming

The first obvious problem is that videos on YouTube can be much longer than a video on TikTok, where the max length is 10 minutes. The best way to easily address that issue is by taking the full video that you want to put on YouTube and break it up into micro-videos perfect for TikTok. And with the new Zubtitle V3, you can easily do that without ever leaving the Zubtitle platform. With our new Trimming feature, your video editing process is more streamlined than ever before. Instead of trimming your video using a different software/platform and then uploading your video to Zubtitle for all of your editing and optimizing tasks, you can now do it all with Zubtitle.

Video Templates

Another new feature that we’ve debuted with V3 is our Templates option. With the Templates feature, you can optimize videos for Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn with one click. Zubtitle’s new interface is more streamlined and includes a lot of updates. But the Templates option is a true game-changer for creators. You can use this new feature to quickly select a video style from a list of options or even create your own style template (that you can save and use again later). Using a template can make your video editing process faster than ever — so you can spend less time editing and more time getting your video content in front of your audience.

Outside of the new features, we’ve also updated the overall look and feel of Zubtitle’s user interface for V3. Our goal, as always, is to make our tool more and more efficient so that your experience as a creator is simpler, more streamlined, and more effective.
